Goodbye to the 190’s, the 180’s, the 170’s and the 160’s

I had a weigh in planned yesterday morning but the scale in the gym went missing and only reappeared this morning. I wish it hadn’t, seeing it show that I’m UP 3 LBS AGAIN!!!!

Geeze, why can’t I just get out of the 150’s weight already? Sure, that TOM is still here, but just barely… I’m just so fed up and angry about this situation. I was on plan. I did my exercise. Remember the 3oz. of chocolate from heaven? Even half of that is still in the cupboard!!!! No sins, no escapades, and no result! Aaagh! Oh, wait, there is a result… I gained!!!

I feel like a convict in a prison cell, wanting to turn the furniture over, but it’s all screwed to the floor!!!

There’s nothing more I can do besides starting to starve myself. And I’m fed up with writing about the same 3 pounds on and off all the time, and I bet you’re sick of hearing about them, too. I’ll try to wrap this up s… into some nice packaging to make it a more positive blog, though it really isn

Way to look at the positive.  We all should be saying GOOD BYE to those previous numbers and make sure they are never to be found again.  Thank you for letting everyone know (remember) that we must be thankful for our improved states of health.

I know it can be so frustrating!  But look how far you’ve come - weight-wise and measurement-wise.  I’m in a bit of a rut too, but stick with it, it’ll come off eventually.  Keep being sensible.  You’re almost there!

You have come a long way in a short amount of time and these 3 lbs are just playing mind games now and soon will be a distant memory.  Your body just needs time to adjust to the way you are eating and exercising then it will take off those 3 lbs and lots more.

those 3lbs may be muscle, not fat. don’t just look at the scale - look at other measurements and how your clothes fit. depending on what and how much exercise you do, you may just be gaining muscle that will make your body look better but won’t change the scale. don’t worry about those 3lbs too much, just keep eating healthy and exercising! you can do it :)

    You’re doing great luv… remember 8 glasses of water weighs 4 pounds…  Don’t be angry…  Just be yourself…

It is so frustrating when the scale doesn’t say what we expect, but it is most likely just water retention. A small amount of water weight weighs alot, think how much a half gallon of water weighs. Chances are, once the water weight comes down, so will your real weight. Try not to get too discouraged, you are doing the right thing and the weight will come off. Just hang in there.

Hey now Lidecka we all know how that goes…anyway it will come off just remember you’re still losing those inches so don’t worry and TOM will soon be gone it will work out honey just don’t worry as much. And I don’t know who it was that called the scale evil…that’s all it’s doing is being evil today lol lol Best to you sweetie! It’ll come off real soon!!!

Okay, so at least you are trying to stay positive.  As I was reading this, I felt like your twin sister.  Since the end of May I have gone up and down 3 pounds every single week.  Excited, then depressed over the gaining back, then excited, then depressed… I feel like a yo-yo. LOL  And I feel your pain and disappointment.  If I may make a suggestion, and I may try this again as I’m wanting to lose 15 pounds by vacation time and I know I can do it with this… and that is the Phase I of the South Beach Diet.  It only last two weeks, but it WILL spike up your metabolism and I wouldn’t suggest it at all if the Phase I last any longer than that.  It WILL get you out of the 150’s quick, and then… from looking at your food journal, you can continue like you are doing and still drop 1-2 pounds per week.

Maybe that’s why you can’t leave the 150’s because you never said good-bye to the others.  The other numbers needed closure.  But, anyway, you are at that certain weight where it can start being a struggle to lose.  You are getting thinner so now you may have to fight just a little bit harder.  But, you’ll pull through.  Just let TOM completely leave and then get it together.  Maybe increase some cardio time by 10 minutes daily or add in another workout day.  I wish you luck girl and I hope you feel better.  I know this can get frustrating but do your best to stay positive.

I don’t even bother weighing myself until at least 3 days after TOM.  This past time, the weight loss didn’t show up until a whole week after.

Also, just know that, if you are losing inches and your clothes fit better, it might be that you are gaining muscle which weighs more than fat.

So it might be more encouraging to keep measuring, rather than weighing.

How unbelievably frustrating!!!!  I don’t know how long you have been struggling with those 3 lbs but when it’s been a while, I always recommend consulting an expert, either a personal trainer at the gym or a nutrionist.  If you’re not losing, there may be something an expert can tweek for you that may help you.

Hang in there Lidecka. I know you’re tempted to give up because I’ve been there what seems like a million times….but don’t! You WILL say goodbye to those three pounds for good soon, but you’ve just got to keep pushing through. I’m proud of you for still having that chocolate in the cupboard. If it’s a temptation, I say throw it out!

You have said goodbye to so many of the “10s” and I KNOW you will say goodbye to this one too…probably sooner than you think.

    We’re behind you 100%!

    Good luck!
