Low blood pressure and rain
rn
It’s been raining for three days in a row over here, now, with strong gusts of wind and not much sunlight. This and being in that particular time of month is really bringing my blood pressure down, I feel drowsy all the time and today I even woke up with a horrible headache. rn
rn
I went for a long walk and came back completely drenched, but now I must get some work done, so I may have to take an aspirin. I’ll make myself something spicy for lunch to get the blood flowing and I’ll just try to keep chugging along and keeping my chin up. rn
rn
When I went for my walk I put on my benchmark corduroy pants and they still fit, so I hope that I’m keeping my weight, even though I did have a really bad evening 2 days ago (food wise) rn
. I’m in a good mood, just feeling a bit sedated…
. I am dreading the scale, though… I’ll weigh in again on Sunday, I guess…
Yep, I’ll trade places with ya! We have the rain AND the heat!! It’s been hot and raining now for what seems like a week! When it quits raining, it’s so horribly muggy outside that it takes your breath away.
Sorry to hear you’re kinda “sedated” feeling…I’ve been there and it’s not really all that much fun, is it? Hope you get to feeling better though.
Great work on the walking in the rain. You’ve got more gumption than I do….I don’t get out in the rain unless I absolutely have to.
Hope you have an awesome day!!
That weather can not be helping anything!!! Nasty. I like a good rain, but on and on it goes. Well try to keep up your strength and no worries about the scale. Isn’t that a laugh and a half! I have been doing everything right and still am thinking perhaps it will not be kind to me on weigh in. Well what can we do? Continue treating ourselves well and pray for some sun…..
Chin up… gotta have some rain if you want the rainbow…
Besides, it’s been raining here all week along with the Texas heat. UGH UGH UGH…
Try some deep breathing for that headache. Close eyes, inhale through the mouth until you feel your stomach expand. Slowly exhale through the nose… can you feel your shoulders drop? Maybe it will help.
Hugs,
Shan
We need the rain desperately here, but I am always in envy of your beautiful skin in U.K. Thank you , you have been such a buddy, always there. And such an inspiration to me. Things will get better —-and walking in the rain sounds great, but really is a bummer. Hug.
I hate those dreary rainy days, but I love a good thunderstorm…always have.
There’s just something cathartic about it for me.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
Sorry about the bad weather and yes I will never complain about the hot weather again. My brother-in-law lives in England and he says it rains all the time. Don’t fret too much about the weight eventually it comes off. It’s okay to have those feelings being sedated and all but they quickly fade away put on some music…eat your lunch and enjoy the rest of your day… It will be okay!
Glad to hear that you are still in a good mood even though the weather is bad! Keeping your chin up when the rain keeps coming down can be a challenge.
I wouldn’t worry too much about one bad evening. I was reading an article about zigzaging calories and it said that you actually need to have bad evenings every once in a while to keep your metabolism up. In fact, they recommend having at least one “bad” evening food-wise a week. I haven’t had the guts to try it, but it encourages me that I don’t have to worry about the occassional slips.
Aweeee….
I LOVE the rain! Especially when I can curl up in my pjs with my favorite book!
I totally understand Lidecka. I cannot complain about my beautiful state but the last few days have had their share of rain with gusts of winds like hurricanes. The cool thing is before and after the weather it gets back to the tropics. Stay well and take care…..
